NEW YEARS EVE. 

Woke up early and ate hotel breakfast. Waffle maker! WHOO! 

Then went to USC. Man, I wanted a sweater but mom gave me illogical reasons. Dude, if you don’t want to get me a sweater just because you think that I might be committed to that school, might as well just tell me in front of my face rather than saying “It’s not cold, you have lots of sweaters at home, blah blah blah” Don’t give me that shit mother.

Went to Fashion District to look at fabric for ao dais. Mom was hella OOH YAAAY. Whatever. Get your fabric for yourself and not let me get a sweater from USC. I want to go there, I don’t care if you won’t let me go to that school, I am. Spent hours there, and all we got was fabric for her. Thanks. 

Food court food. Not really in the greatest mood. On the way home was okay, more bonding time with my sister. YAAAY.

I’m glad 2011’s ending. New year for new possibilities. Let’s go.

YES. DAY TO GO EXPLORE LA! 

Woke up… well, early enough. But then went back to sleep. My stomach’s still a bit queasy. :/ took a while for everyone (my brother especially) to get on going. Went to go to this sandwich shop to get get Viet sandwiches togo. 

Universal Studios was AWESOME. Oh man… I loooooooooved the shows. I thought they’d be boring and all that but oh man. I was… in shock. I LOOOOOVED IT. Maybe except Shrek 3D but yeah. I looooved everything else. YAAAAAAY. 

Then late dinner… but that’s okay. Cute waitor ;)

BARNES AND NOBLE! I love this place. 

I woke up with the desire of going to a bookstore and just do work/read. And that’s what I got :)

Started off with the power point presentation. After that went to Target to return my white elephant gift. WHOO! Jamba juice and Wendy’s for lunch with my sister. Saw Matthew, but he forgot who I was I bet. I might see him tonight too -__- He even got my name wrong, Melissa. PLEASE. Then went to Macys to return my mom’s stuff and went to B&N. Did a lot of my WYD catchup. I saw one of my student’s from Lasan. He has ADD and his mom’s helping him out by reading. I admire parents that take the time off like that. He better be grateful for his parents.

Time to go SHOPPING! WHHOO!

I tried on this dress at UO, and I really like it now :/ 69 bucks though… should I get it? 

I’m in the NEED to go shopping and spend some money.

I woke up from a depressing dream. I found my thumb bleeding too and I remembered how inflicting the pain felt in my dream…. I don’t know how to explain it, but yeah. 

Worked on APUSH and then found out that Chi Chi’s feeling pain again… this is her third time trying to get pregnant and she’s afraid that she might lose it again. She’s been spotting and bleeding… sister took her to the hospital. 

I was super grumpy today. All I wanted to do was go shopping and spend some money because I needed to get out of here. But no one could take me. That just made me even more upset. 

We’re probably going out to eat again -___- Try out Dyansty in Cupertino. Oh yay.

Large family! This isn’t even half of them! 

This morning I woke up with the intention of getting some work done. But really, I didn’t even do much. 

Initially, my sister and I went to Save Mart to buy some stuff and went over to Di Lan’s house. Started on the paste for apple pie and that’s it… got to talk to Di Lan and Chris for a bit. Di Lan kept on asking me if I had a boyfriend and I had to date a Vietnamese one -___- She got a bit confused cuz she remembered I go to an all girl school and so I think she’s a bit… questioning… hahaha. 

Then the cousins came! And all of the sudden my parents and Bac Viet appeared too. We were like … THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A KIDS PARTY. But not like we could shoo them off all of the sudden. Anywho, so knowing that these adults (ahem, my mom and Bac Viet) LOOOOVE to pray, we had to pray before we started eating -___- what the fuck. And that also means we can’t do anything… well, “illegal” since the parents are here to chaperone. Jeez. 

Then White Elephant with them! Fun fun fun! This time, we did dares. Nothing really appealed to me, so I took back my own gift. But with that, I had to do 30 situps. DAMN. Orginally, I was supposed to do 30 pushups but I’d… die. hahaha. So yeah, got my Nerf gun back and I want to return it so I can get some money back! Poor Chi Julie kept on having to do all these EASY dares because her gifts kept on getting stolen! 

Hahaha yeah, fun stuff! We met Tay’s girlfriend and Frank’s “dating”friend. Hahaha. Fun fun fun :)

Watching PowerPuff girls while updating my tumblr! YAAAAAAAY :D 

Woke up kinda earlyish to go run with my siblings… but we woke up too late. Plus Anh Tri wanted to watch football. So we did not go. We haven’t ran like… “always finish strong” status since Thanksgiving I think. Saaad :( 

Anywho, updated tumblr and yeah… that took a lot of work and memory! Learned a lot of stuff today… and I’m like super duper mindblown. 

Then I got kinda upset for the rest of the day… I mean… I don’t know… I just felt kind of depressed. Not really the best thing but yeah hahaha. Went to church. Some people fainted, but saw a lot of people  I knew. Yeah… it’s kind of common to see people pass out when there’s a crowded church. 

Had a huge headache after that. Went to go to ABC. I wasn’t in a great mood. Actually I wasn’t in the best mood.

Careful, it might not look like it’ll fill you up but it really does… up until 28 hours. 

So this morning we were supposed to run, but then my siblings all overslept. I literally woke up ten minutes before Monica and Shirley came. Twas cousin day after all! :)

So Monica and Shirley took me to go eat Korean food at this place called Korean Fusion or something. We were the very first customers for the day and it was quite… bare. The food was eh, but I basically ate the Meat-Jun. I thought Omogari’s was better. Anywho, filled up to the brim! Sat and watched Family Feud and talked about my sister’s wedding and it’s whereabouts as of then. 

Then went to Bambu. Got milk teas and sat in the warmth of their car and talked while sipping our drinks. We were originally going to wait for Monica to get her haircut but she wasn’t booked that day apparently. So we left to go to Barnes and Noble in Eastridge and just chill there. 

So we got to talk and look through wedding magazines. None of the dresses were accommodating with my sister’s taste. I think she has her heart set on that JCrew dress but eh… So yeah, flipped through magazines and talked. Mainly about boyfriends this time. 

Got dropped off and felt like I still had eternity to myself. So called up Duy annd asked him what he was up to. Apparently, he needed to shop for our White Elephant on Monday so I decided to go with him. Meanwhile, I went running with my sister and Diesel to Groesbeck. It felt good. Didn’t see KittenBoy though so I got my hopes up for nothing. 

Came home, showered in the bathroom that my dad took a huge dump in -__- I was too lazy to go to another bathroom. 

After taking a loooong time contemplating on what to do next, Duy made up his mind of going to Pho Kim Long for dinner. Except, I had nothing but a durian smoothie. Haven’t had those in a looong time. I was still full from this morning’s brunch so I didn’t really want anything. So we just talked and stuff over dinner. Told him about wedding stuff too haha. I guess I was being super loud cuz a few people in other tables looked over… yeah, my voice is not the best at being maintained in room level. 

Great Mall was packed, but I loved the rush. Went to a couple of stores to get a few ideas for the White Elephant gift. I shopped for a bit too, unexpectedly. It’s one of those things where if you put something in front of me, I’ll most likely consume it. For example, if you give me money, I’m most likely going to spend it on food. If you get give me food, I’ll most likely will eat it. Even if it’s totally unnecessary! So yeah, give me money and I’ll shop without intending to in the first place. 

So we went to see if we could exchange my gift I got from Nancy at Bath and Body. Sniffed everything and we kinda felt gross afterwards. I kept track of Duy’s lost Guy points. Then went to H&M where I got my mom’s gift and two for myself. I FINALLY GOT THE SWEATER I WANTED AND THE JERSEY SHIRT :D Then went to Coach to see how much the value was of my wristlet and scarf. Thirty seven. Long line, not worth it. So kept everything. 

Finally, stopped at Target to get our gifts. Duy got razors and I got a Nerf gun and a calendar for my dad. Awesome. Christmas shopping, done! 

Came home and wrapped our presents.Actually, I wrapped while he watched The Blind Side. Chi Tam came home and watched too.
